We had a very good summer and sold some paintings, but more importantly, we met some awesome people out there at the shows! Thanks for all your support this summer.
Not updating my web site. But here I am again…. Adding all the new paintings I’ve done in the last month or so. And a couple of new events, too.
I’ve just uploaded six new paintings. I’m trying out a new paint surface, yupo paper, which is actually like a mylar plastic paper surface, which creates some very interesting results. The colors are extremely vibrant because all the pigment stays on the surface. Once you get used to it, it’s really fun to paint on. Let me know what you think!
Hi All – Now is the time we are all signing up for the summer shows. I’ve decided not to participate in the Breckenridge show this year. Instead, I’m trying to get into the Mountain Arts Festival Show in Woodland Park Aug. 6-7. I’ll let you know when that show is confirmed. Hope to see you all this summer!
Check out my new paintings I posted today. They are hanging at Coyote Creek Gallery if you want to see them!
Check out my new wetlands painting inspired by our recent trip to Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in central New Mexico.
Traveling south into the desert regions was really inspiring and got my artistic juices flowing again, after the stressful holidays. Now that I’m back in Colorado I’m already hard at work at my art table, creating some new pieces. Keep an eye on my gallery as there will be a couple of new paintings arriving there soon!
Thank you, everyone, that supported me in 2010! I just completed the last show of the year, the Fairplay Holiday Bazaar. Besides being lots of fun, it was a great success, surpassing last year’s sales. I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season and I look forward to seeing you all in the coming year! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Cat
I just got back from Florida late on Saturday and arrived to winter! It wasn’t like this three weeks ago when I left!?! I’ve already been spending time in my art room, painting some, and moving into my new studio space. Check out my new photo of a burro that I just completed today (11-15-10).
